It appears as if Hillary Clinton has a firm grasp of Pennsylvania.
Two polls released in the past couple of days have Clinton with massive leads over Donald Trump. A CBS News/YouGov poll has Clinton with an eight point lead (48-40) and an NBC/WSJ/Marist poll has a 12 point lead for Clinton (49-37).
These polls give Clinton an 8.6 point lead over Trump in the RealClearPolitics aggregate poll.
And the outlook for Trump looks even more bleak. These polls were taken before the controversial video of Trump from 2005 was released to the public, or at the very least was able to have any effect on polls.
As I am writing this, both candidates are preparing for the town hall debate. With his falling poll numbers and the fallout continuing from his latest incident, Donald Trump is going to need to have the debate of a lifetime if he wants any chance of winning Pennsylvania. And seeing as how he basically needs to win Pennsylvania to win the White House, Trump needs a turnaround fast.
