Presidential elections tend to be the most frequented by voters, particularly new voters. Prior to entering the voting booth, many people have never seen a ballot before and might not know to expect. Although the content of the ballots varies by county, there are some offices/issues that are consistent throughout all state ballots.
All state ballots will have items under Federal, State, and County offices. There is also a constitutional amendment on all state ballots this year. The back of the ballot contains Supreme Court options, Court of Appeals options, and options for whichever judicial district the voter resides in.
Ballots could also potentially have items regarding city offices, referenda, educational funding, etc.
